Shipping and delivery

Shipping/Delivery FAQs

Your products are securely packaged and shipped via courier, fully insured, and require a signature upon delivery. Delivery within Brisbane or Melbourne metro areas usually takes up to 1 to 2 days, while country deliveries take between 2 and 4 days, depending on your location. The final cost of delivery will be determined in the cart after your order options are selected. If you are unable to receive your order it will be redirected to your nearest PO box.

The cost of shipping depends on the weight and value of your order. For gold and platinum, there's a base cost of $15 plus insurance of 0.6% of the total value. For silver, the base cost is $8 per kilogram plus insurance of 0.6% of the total value, with a minimum charge of $17. If your order is being shipped to a PO box, there is an additional $10 fee which is a cost charged direct from the courier. The final shipping cost will be calculated in the cart at the order options page.

Yes, we can deliver to a PO Box. When placing your order, you can choose delivery to your address or a PO Box. Please be aware that there is an additional fee of $10 for GPO box deliveries, which is a cost direct from the courier.

We don’t ship internationally, however if you have a special requirement, please email or call us to see if we can arrange international shipping.

Once payment has cleared to our account, generally within 24 hours, orders in Brisbane or Melbourne metro areas typically take 1 to 2 days, while country deliveries can take between 2 and 4 days, depending on your location. Once your order is picked up from our office, you'll receive tracking information to monitor the movement of your goods. If your order is marked as a 'delayed delivery', the above time frames apply once the stock has been received to our offices.

Once your order is picked up from our office, we will send you tracking information via email. You can use this information to monitor the status of your delivery until it arrives at your address. You can use the following link to track your order: https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search

Yes, your order is fully insured during delivery. The insurance is included in the delivery costs, ensuring that your purchase is protected until it reaches you. To maintain coverage, any non-delivery must be reported within 24 hours if your order has not arrived as per the tracking information. Failure to report within this timeframe may void the insurance. Please email [email protected] if your order has not been delivered as per the tracking information.

For individual items exceeding $50,000 in value, delivery will require specialist security services, which must be quoted individually and may not be available in all locations. If you are outside a metropolitan area, please confirm delivery availability with us beforehand. Additionally, deliveries may only be possible to a business address, not a residential address.
Note: Orders can be split across multiple days to accommodate any value limit for products that are under $50,000. Product listings on our website specify which items exceed the single-parcel value limit.

If no one is home during the delivery, your items will be taken to your local post office for collection.

If your order is not delivered according to the tracking information, please notify us in writing within 24 hours of the expected delivery time by emailing [email protected]. Make sure to provide full details of the non-delivery. We will then assist you in resolving the issue.

Once an order is placed and confirmed it is considered final, as a binding contract has been established with Ainslie Bullion. Payment is required within 24 hours via bank transfer or by cash or card in store only.
Note: Card payments can be made up to a maximum of $10,000, and incur a 1.8% fee.

Yes, your package must be signed for upon arrival. This ensures that your order is securely delivered to you.

Ainslie reserves the right to halt deliveries to certain areas in the event of natural disasters or other extenuating circumstances that may compromise the safe delivery of your goods.

Orders will be suspended over the Christmas period. We will clearly communicate the deadline for placing final orders beforehand.
