Median Forecast for Gold Price 2013

Reuters’ latest poll of 29 top banking and brokerage analysts found a median forecast for a gold price of (US) $1627/oz for 2013.  An ‘interesting’ outcome given we saw some of the usual banks providing downgraded forecasts just before the price crash. It’s come out now that some of those same banks had large short positions before the squeeze and held most of their gold afterwards.. and now talking it up…!
