Selling gold, silver & platinum bullion by post

At Ainslie Bullion, we make it easy for you to sell your gold, silver and platinum. Simply follow these instructions to ensure a smooth and hassle-free selling process:

  • Please limit each parcel to a maximum value of $25,000
  • In the delivery address section, make a note that says "Deliver to physical address"
  • The buyback price will be locked in when the metal arrives at our office
  • Tightly secure the contents of your parcel in a padded bag, along with your email address, telephone number, and bank account details
  • If you have not already done so, please complete verification of your ID on our website
  • Place the padded bag in another larger padded bag so that the parcel is "silent"
  • Go to the counter of the Post Office and purchase an Express Post Satchel and a signature on delivery sticker that corresponds to the weight of your parcel
  • Address the satchel as follows:
    • Ainslie Level 6, 12 Creek Street Brisbane 4000, or
    • Ainslie Level 14, 357 Collins Street Melbourne 3000 if sending from Victoria.
  • Take a clear and focused photo of the "Receiver" side of the parcel, showing the above name and address
  • Retain this photo until we have received your parcel
  • Hand the parcel to the officer at the Post Office, and retain the stamped receipt and tracking number for tracking and evidence of dispatch
  • Do not disclose the contents of the parcel to the Postal Officer
  • Ainslie Bullion has your parcel insured, so there is no need to insure it again
